Plunder Scenario 37

You are planning a solicitation for debt collections. Other colleagues in the office shared that the division director is very controlling of the evaluation process and insists on sitting on the panel with his subordinates. What is your approach?

AP Response:

Our process includes a formal declaration requiring supervisors to certify that they will not interfere with their subordinates’ evaluations. Unfortunately, there is so much at play with this person's personality that we chose to do the bare minimum because anything else would have been choosing an uphill battle that we couldn't win. However, given that the individual in question is the Division Director, additional oversight may be warranted. What further measures (such as enhanced transparency, documentation of interactions, or secondary review mechanisms) can be implemented to reinforce impartiality and uphold the integrity of the evaluation process?
