Plunder Scenario 25
You are nearing completion of a Procurement for outsourced operations of a public greenhouse. It's time for negotiations and you realize you are uncomfortable with your knowledge of the language and jargon related to the commodity. What do you do?
AP Response:
We facilitated and maintained control of the negotiations meeting, but allowed the end-users—who had the technical expertise—to lead the actual negotiation discussions. To ensure accuracy and alignment with the negotiated terms, we then asked the end-user to provide the language for the Record of Negotiations. This helped ensure the documentation was precise and reflected the agreed-upon outcomes without introducing errors.
